Rūpniecība Ziepniekkalnā
Ņemot vērā Ziepniekkalna ģeogrāfisko novietojumu, rūpniecības uzņēmumi šeit sāka veidoties tikai 19. gadsimtā. 1970. gados pilsētai pievienotajā teritorijā ziemeļos no Medemu purva izveidojies rūpnieciskās apbūves rajons.
